Why VoIP?
Most of the largest companies have been using Voice over IP for some years now. So it is not a new technology.
What IS new, however, is that, due to the advent of reliable and widespread Broadband internet connections, small companies can now take advantage of the technology. This provides an opportunity to install - at much lower cost than hitherto - a professional, full-featured telephone system in your office. And it will not involve buying one of those complicated and expensive boxes that screws to the wall! And you can use fewer BT lines than you would use with such a PBX, saving considerable monthly line rentals.

Remote working?
The system recognises the fact that many small businesses find it cost-effective to allow some workers to operate from home. The "Virtual" PBX will work with "extensions" that can be located anywhere in the country - or, indeed, in the world. And it does not involve expensive call forwarding. The cost of making and receiving calls is not affected by the physical location of the Extension.
This technology is all provided over the Internet, and relies on the availability of good broadband connectivity at each location. Unfortunately it is unlikely that the dream of having your desk on a quiet beach somewhere in the Caribbean will be fulfilled - but only because broadband may not be available there. And, after all, we must leave some places where we can escape the phone!

Multiple locations?
If your company has multiple locations - either branch offices, factories or home-workers - then all the calls made between any of these would be made at zero cost. This even applies to locations outside the country.
AND.....We can port your existing BT telephone number over to our system so you will not need to change your number. And, even better, is the fact that should you ever move premises, you will always be able to keep that number. Even if you move to a different town - or country!

So if you want a French or Spanish telephone number (or one from a range of other countries) you can have that too.
